Kitsune (A Fantasy Poem)
I have a new poem for you — this time about the Kitsune, or nine-tailed fox. :) It’s a new, unpublished one.
Kitsune
Deep in the dark and secret forest,
Where ancient trees and creatures lurk,
Lives the mythical nine-tailed fox,
In a place where no one dares to walk.
Her fur is the colour of midnight,
Possessing a radiant darkness within,
She moves with grace and stealth in her home,
Gliding through the trees like a whisper on the wind.
The fox is a creature of mystery and power,
Able to manipulate the elements with her magic,
Melding the ether with her potent will,
To create wonders beyond imagining.
When she speaks, her voice is like a lullaby,
Soothing and calming the woods around her,
Her silver eyes can see through the shadows of the night,
Revealing secrets to only those she deems worthy.
The nine tails of the fox shimmer and sparkle,
Like a thousand stars in the night sky,
Each tail is like a part of her soul,
Radiating energy and life into the forest.
She is wise and powerful,
A creature of beauty and grace,
Her old soul carries the knowledge of the ages,
Guiding all who come in contact with it.
The fox is a protector of the forest,
She rules the deep and dark woodlands,
Guarding her domain with a ferocity that knows no bounds,
All who enter must respect her and her home.
The nine-tailed fox is a creature of legend,
Her power is felt in every corner of the forest,
She is a symbol of strength and resilience,
A beacon of hope in the dark and mysterious woods.
