Sadness and the Sun (A Poem)
I have another new poem for you. This one is called ‘Sadness and the Sun,’ and it’s more optimistic than it sounds on first glance. :)
Sadness and the Sun
For a woman so sad, the sun outside is a blessing
It shines through her pain, and her heart starts confessing
That even in her despair, there is still beauty to see
A brightness in the sky, and a warmth in the breeze.
The sun kisses her face, and the wind whips her hair
As each moment passes, her sorrow does wear
The sun’s golden rays bring the hope of new beginnings
And the woman feels the fire of joy reignite within.
The birds chirp in the trees, and the grass is so green
Her feet find a path, and her sadness recedes
The leaves rustle in the breeze, and the clouds move like a dance
The woman takes a deep breath, and finds a new chance.
The warmth of the sun brings a smile to her face
It takes away her sadness, and replaces it with grace
The sun is her balm, and her heart finds its beat
In the power of nature, her sadness is complete.
The woman takes the day, exploring her new chance
The sun and the sky help her find her new stance
She takes a step forward, and she looks up to the sun
And remembers that life can be full of beauty and fun.
